B12: Priverno, Privernum, Località Mezzagosto

Archaeological operation managed in CeVICA by Simon Dienst.

Location: Italie - Latina (41.4923° north, 13.2018° east).

Description

Dans les années 1980, la Sapienza Università di Roma avait déjà effectué des fouilles à Priverno. En particulier, les thermes près du mur d’enceinte, déjà connus, ainsi qu’une nécropole ont fait l’objet de sondages. Quelques formes de céramique commune « claire » tardo-antique, à engobe ou non, sont publiées dans un article de Simona Pannuzi en 1998, dans l’ouvrage Ceramica in Italia.

Pour ces fouilles, seule la céramique commune identifiable a été intégrée à CeVICA.
